This Level 1 course will help you to master the basics for working with clients who are physically active with diabetes or prediabetes, including types of training that are appropriate and critical, injury prevention, blood glucose monitoring, medication basics (and exercise effects), complications, exercise motivation, and more. No prerequisite. Complete Level 2 and 3 to become a Diabetes Exercise Specialist.
